The following basic services and features are made available to each resident at Elegant Eldercare:

  • Care. Continuous care and supervision, including observation for changes in physical, mental, emotional, or social functioning.
  • Assistance. Assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence measures, mobility issues, or other personal needs.
  • Meals. Three nutritious, balanced meals are served daily and, in between meals, we provide a healthy variety of snacks. Special diets, if prescribed by a physician, will be accomodated.
  • Appointments. Planning and arrangements for transportation to medical and dental appointments. Assistance in keeping appointments.
  • Nurse Visits. Weekly visits to facility by a Registered Nurse (RN), plus availability by appointment.
  • Activities. Planned activities, including the utilization of community resources.
  • Lodging. Choice of three elegant lodging accomodations:
    • Shared, Semi-Private Room. The master bedroom suite has been converted into a comfortable setting that's just right for two people. There's plenty of sunlight and closet space available. Plus there's an adjoining bathroom area. It's an ideal choice for those residents who enjoy sharing a bit of company.
    • Single Room. Our single rooms are standard sized bedrooms that provide a private bedroom area for a resident. It's an ideal choice for those residents who prefer privacy.
    • Large Single Room. Our large single rooms provide spacious, private bedrooms for a resident. It's an ideal choice for those residents who not only prefer privacy, but also wish to enjoy spacious accomodations.
  • Furnishings. A comfortable bed, plus suitable bedroom furnishings to give each room a touch of elegance. With prior approval, residents are welcome to supply some of their own personal furnishings.
  • Cleaning. Cleaning of resident's room. Fresh bed linens and bath items at least once a week.
  • Clothing. Washing, drying, and ironing of personal clothing.
  • Personal Property. Maintenance or supervision of resident's personal property.
  • Monitoring. Notification of resident's family, physician, or other appropriate person / agency of any changes in the resident's needs.
  • Medications. Assistance with taking prescribed or over-the-counter medications in accordance with physician's instructions, unless prohibited by law or regulation.
  • Temporary Illness. Bedside care and tray service during minor, temporary illnesses or when recovering from surgery.
  • Hygiene. Of course, we provide hygiene items of general use, such as soap or toilet paper.
